The Green House Nursery

The Hammock community just used Greenhouse Nursery to do some renovations on our front entrance. They helped us revamp this entrance they did 14 years ago. Now it looks spectacular. My hat goes off to Rebecca because she always helps with our plants. Tristan, who helped get this project underway. Dawn, who came out to help put plans in place according to what I wanted done. Dan, who was in charge of the project. I can’t remember the name of the man that was the actual implementer of the project, but he was wonderful and worked with me to make sure everything was done the way I wanted it. The men that worked with him were wonderful. He did so many special things with materials that we had and was meticulous on making sure everything looked first class. This is the reason I use them a year after year whether it’s just for plants or for work that needs to be done. That is a promise..

Had them install plants for me. Very poor communication/organization overall. There was a tree that was missing and on the install date I was told they’d come back to install it later. I called a week later and the office had no idea that not everything was installed, I’ve since had to call back multiple times trying to get this resolved. Also had a couple plants immediately die and was originally told that they would replace them no problem and was later told that it was my fault (when the rest of the identical plants next to them were totally fine). The install itself was mostly fine, though one of the plants was completely underneath the weed shield and the mulch was scattered without much care and was on top of branches of the more delicate plants.

Greenhouse nursery is awesome! I love this place I've been going there for almost 20 years. Their variety and selection and selection is outstanding, I love all the beautiful annuals and quality year-round, it just can't be beat anywhere that I know of in the Gainesville area I've been in the business for over 20 years and have developed and evolved in excellent relationship with Justin Green the owner, Rebecca, Ray and many of the other associates. Their various bulk items and selection of mulch soils rocks and other ground covers is outstanding. I'd like to mention in point out the command soil that they mix and make their on the property is excellent for garden beds topsoil or anything that you want to grow and to grow well I promote it use it myself sell it and suggest it all the time to my customers and others. The value is good and comparable to others I've heard comments occasionally from people that mention that they're a bit pricey but respectfully you get what you pay for I'd rather pay a little more for something that looks great that lasts and that they stand behind 100% and then otherwise. They're always friendly and personnel as accommodating if you need some help loa

Didn't have many plants, some were in great shape, some not so much, the prices though, phew..Love the decorations and decor. Great for larger shrubs, trees and such. I haven't gone out to buy plants a lot in the last few years so I'm probably out of touch but some things were just way overpriced including pots and paintings and such. Shame, I was excited since I had never been. Of course it's also a drought. Below are images the plants that did look lovely. The color on my phone doesn't do that Lily any justice. We did not purchase anything

Simple date idea, bring your partner, brother, mother, wife, significant other…. Whoever over here and and get your steps in and check out all the plants! I would say it can be a cheap outing but that’s purely circumstantial to how many plants you end up buying! Great selection, everything seems happy and healthy and the grounds are very well maintained
